The first annual Thai Food Festival: BKK 2 LAX, hosted by celebrity chef Jet Tila (The Charleston) and the Thai Trade Center of Los Angeles, will take place at the Paramount Pictures Studios back lot in Hollywood. The event will provide tastings from a number of LA-based Thai restaurants and street vendors, in addition to live entertainment. Guest chefs including David LeFevre (MB Post, Fishing With Dynamite), Susan Feniger (Susan Feniger's STREET, Border Grill), and Sang Yoon (Lukshon), among others, will lead culinary discussion panels and cooking demonstrations. The festival takes place from 3:30 p.m.-6 p.m, with general admission tickets at $50 a person, and VIP tickets that include preview admittance and preferred parking for $75.
