Baked Ziti
Ingredients
- 1 pound dry ziti pasta
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 52 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
- 1-1/2 cups sour cream
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti pasta in it until it is al dente, for about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the cooked ziti in the bottom of the baking dish. Top it with the sliced provolone cheese, sour cream, half of the meat sauce, remaining ziti, shredded mozzarella cheese, and the remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until it is heated through and the cheese has melted, for about 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
