Nothing beats fresh bread! Don’t let the short ingredient list or ease fool you – this is honestly the best bread recipe. The bread comes out soft, pillowy, savory, and amazing.
Put all dry ingredients (except the yeast) into the bread machine.
Add the warmed buttermilk and softened butter.
Add the yeast last and immediately start the bread machine.
Let the machine run its course and immediately remove the bread from the machine once the machine has finished baking it.

1.) This recipe makes one 2-lb. loaf in the bread machine. I suggest using the lightest crust setting.2.) You can also bake this bread in the oven and simply use your bread machine on the dough cycle to create the dough. The dough makes fantastic dinner rolls. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
