The Very Best & Super Easy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Delicious and better than any pre-packaged frosting.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add the butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  • Using a hand mixer, beat until fluffy and everything is fully combined.
  • If necessary, add more milk (one tablespoon at a time) until the frosting is the correct consistency.

Notes

You can easily pipe this frosting for a more professional finish (as shown in the main image) – you simply need a decorating bag and a tip.
