The Wine Cellar Scavenger Hunt

Get your family and friends together and join us in a unique Wine Cellar Scavenger Hunt in East Attica, just a few minutes away from Athens Airport.  East Attica is a region with very fertile plains and offers a wide range of gastronomic experiences. Besides wine production, the area has a rich farming tradition producing excellent quality dairy products, such as white and yellow cheeses made with fresh goat and sheep milk, velvet yogurt, and flavorful rice pudding.

During this experience, we will stop first at a family-owned dairy shop for brunch to boost your energy before arriving at the winery. Learn about the wine history of Attica while enjoying your wine tasting.  All you have to do is to pay attention to every piece of information or tip the winemaker will share with you so that you will be able to solve the riddles and break the codes. Once the wine tasting is over, form teams of 4-5 persons and enter the cellar! Take photos, answer trivia and collect items to earn points.

The experience at a glance

• This unique experience will start by picking you up from your hotel. Our tour starts with a ride towards the airport and before crossing the vineyards and the fig orchards of Mesogaia we will stop at a well-known family-run dairy shop for brunch. Learn about the history of the family and enjoy a fresh rice pudding and a crispy piece of cheese pie. You will also taste the famous Must Cookies, a typical product of the area.
• Our next stop is  a local winery.In the backyard of the property, cozily situated in the stone-built annex, the wine-tasting hall will captivate you with a variety of flavors, bouquets and palates. You will have the chance to visit the winery premices, learn its history while tasting five different wine varieties accompagnied by local products.
• Take part in an fun scavenger hunt experience and find the clues that are hidden hidden in different areas of the winery.
• The team that solves the riddles in less time wins the Scavenger Hunt Award.
