A precious wooden case containing the entire Giusti Historical Collection of balsamic vinegars plus five premium condiments. Size: Five 250ml bottles of balsamic vinegar and five 40ml condiments.
Origin: Italy
From a request by the late Tenor Luciano Pavarotti for a precious object to be included at his Foundation’s charity auction, the Giusti family created the “Scrigno”, a precious wooden case containing the entire Giusti “Historical Collection”: five Balsamic Vinegars of Modena of different recipes and increasing lengths of aging in the classic shapes: Champagnotta and Champagnottina. The “Scrigno” also contains five premium condiments aged in oak, cherry, chestnut, mulberry and juniper casks, each of them carries distinctive flavors of the wood in which it aged.
Giusti Modena, Italy’s oldest balsamic vinegar producer, originally opened their doors back in 1605, and today continues to create a complex harmony of flavors and a product of true excellence. Creating exceptional balsamic vinegar depends on competence, experience, attention to detail, and a lengthy period of aging. Proud of know-how that has been refined over its 400-year family history, Giusti combines both its respect for tradition with a sense of local corporate responsibility and modern sustainable production philosophy. More than four centuries have passed since their family ancestors initiated the first series of barrels of balsamic vinegar in the attics of their home in Via Farini. Today, Giusti balsamic vinegars enrich the dishes of the best chefs and decorate the shelves of the most exclusive shops in Italy and around the world.
