Villa Vetrichina was born as a country farm back in 1798 in the enchantments of the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. The proximity of the thermal waters and the village of San Casciano dei Bagni makes staying in this corner of Tuscany, Italy a unique experience unlike any other. It is a place to rediscover the tranquility of the past… as time here seems to have no dimension. The villa was recently renovated, carefully crafted with all-natural materials from the area. They are able to offer comfortable accommodations and hospitality to families or groups of up to 14 guests.
In the summertime, you can to enjoy the garden with its various relaxation areas, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the coolness of the woods in which the Villa is submerged. During the winter time, the coziness of the house, enriched by the warmth of the fireplaces, makes the atmosphere feel simply magical.
After a day at the spa or wandering around this beautiful place, the evening in their restaurant becomes the best place to relax. Chef Francesco agrees on a menu with the guests, guiding them in tastings of local specialties, in a welcoming and informal atmosphere by the warmth of the fireplace.
You can also join Chef Francesco in an informal cooking classes, full of fun, but in line with the most genuine Italian culinary traditions. With his guidance, you will learn to use high quality locally sourced ingredients to turn water and flour into incredible plates of tagliatelle, ravioli, and fettuccine.
