Producer Spotlight : Missouri Northern Pecan Growers

Discover the superior flavor of wild American native pecans

Their farmers: Droz family, Harth family, Jason Eaton, Wilson family, and the Liles family.

Missouri Northern Pecan Growers is a farmer-owned company specializing in native pecans that grow wild in the riparian flood plains in southwest Missouri, United States. They offer a tasteful selection of quality pecans, and pecan products, that are 100% USDA Certified Organic.

Pecans Are Their Lives

The goal at Missouri Northern Pecan Growers is to share the superior flavor of wild, American Native pecans with the world.

Northern Indigenous Pecans

The native pecan that grows in Missouri is very unique in that it has adapted to a colder climate than other pecans; its nut is smaller in size, has a thicker shell, and a much higher oil content than its cousins in the south. The oil gives the pecans the ‘sweet’ flavor that made them a delicacy of the Osage Indians centuries ago. Missouri Pecans grow naturally in the rich river bottom soils of Missouri, in the northernmost region of pecan production. Local farmers tend to these wild trees and benefits are enjoyed from generation to generation.

100% Certified Organic Pecans
Organic certification ensures their products are not only tasty but that they also abstain from harming the environment with unnecessary pollutants. Certification of their organic pecans ensures that their wild trees maintain their chemical and biological integrity by keeping the soils free from toxic pesticides and chemicals. Their pecans are locally-grown, harvested, and prepared for customers with the commitment to providing a natural, sustainable, and tasty pecan.

Farm to Fork
They are committed to providing each and every customer with the freshest, most flavorful pecan for snacking or baking. From their Missouri pecan groves, directly to your kitchen.

Sustainable
Their wild pecan trees are unaltered by humans, planted by nature… and the squirrels. Their pecan trees grow in environmentally sensitive floodplains, naturally protecting the riparian ecosystem. Their farmers are proud to nurture and harvest this sustainable crop.

Missouri Northern Pecan Growers processes certified Organic and non-Organic Pecans, Pecan Oil, and Pecan Meal-Flour in a solar powdered, peanut-free facility. The native pecans have a higher oil content that provides a superior flavor. They take pride in producing sustainable, heart-healthy products that are minimally processed and contain zero additives, preservatives, or genetically modified derivatives.
