  • 1.5 liters water
  • 6 tsp black tea
  • 1/2 tsp saffron (approx. 25 strands)
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • sugar or honey to taste


  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add saffron and cardamom (only previously crushed seeds). Simmer for 8 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, add the tea and leave to stand for 5 minutes. .
  • Strain and serve
